GPIX Dividend Summary
GPIX is Goldman Sachs's S&P 500 premium-income ETF. It owns the index's large-cap stocks and writes call options on 25% to 75% of that holding. Funds that write calls on the whole portfolio sell the rally. This one leaves most of the S&P 500 free to rise. Cash comes from option premiums plus the stocks' own dividends. A covered-call S&P 500 fund that still wants some upside.
