Diversified Royalty Corp buys trademarks, mostly from North American franchise chains, and lives off the royalty. The operators keep the stores. DIV takes a cut of sales or a fixed payment. Mr. Lube + Tires is the largest partner. The rest covers restaurants, tutoring, home care, and real estate. Some royalties move with sales, some do not. The monthly dividend is the whole point, paid from that cash, and raised when cash flow per share allows. It's a royalty collector on franchise brands.
