FTS Dividend Summary
Fortis is a big North American regulated utility holding company. Electric and gas subsidiaries cover five Canadian provinces, ten U.S. states, and the Caribbean. ITC, the U.S. transmission arm, runs more than 16,000 miles of high-voltage lines. Almost all of it is rate-regulated pipes and wires. Dull work that keeps the dividend honest. This Canadian Dividend Aristocrat is a slow grower, paid from utility earnings. A continent-wide electric and gas utility.
