H Dividend Summary
Hydro One is Ontario's largest electricity transmitter and distributor. Purely wires, no plants. It serves about 1.5 million customers, mostly rural, across three-quarters of the province. Transmission is the larger business. Nearly all earnings come from rates the Ontario Energy Board sets. The Province of Ontario owns close to half the stock, and no other holder can go above 10%. This Canadian Dividend Aristocrat is a slow grower, paid from regulated cash flow. Ontario's electric grid, listed on the TSX.
