NTR Dividend Summary
Nutrien came from the 2018 merger of PotashCorp and Agrium. It mines potash in Saskatchewan, makes nitrogen and phosphate, and runs the largest farm-retail chain in North America, Australia, and South America. Fertilizer prices swing. The stores keep cash coming when the mines do not.
Nutrien pays the dividend in U.S. dollars. It is a Canadian Dividend Aristocrat. A slow grower, not a high-income payer. The world's largest fertilizer producer, paying from potash and the farm store.
